When I graduated with a B.Sc. in Psychology, I never envisioned that I would be putting it to use in the IT industry. My journey to today started over 20 years ago, when I first joined a customer service support desk run by Compaq (at that time, soon to be bought out by Hewlett Packard). It was my first introduction to "IT" and I quickly fell in love with the notion of providing my clients with support as they learned to leverage new tools and technologies to their advantage.

With this new foray in to IT, I discovered that I could bring my passion for helping others succeed into a business environment. My natural teaching and coaching skills have served my clients well over the years. I am a "life long learner" and am constantly looking for new ways to teach, mentor and support my clients. I am a strong believer in the value of a "growth mindset" and strive daily to learn from others while sharing what I know. 

When asked by friends what I do for a living, my response is simply "I help humans understand how to make the most of the technology they work with day to day." I am passionate about taking a "people first approach" to everything that I do - after all, regardless of how amazing the tool is, it's of no value if people aren't willing and able to use it.
